I am Nelson Bermas and I just completed P90X. I am a family man with 3 beautiful active kids so I understand a parent's personal health gets to be a less of a priority when you start a family. I started developing bad eating habits, eating more fast food, eating all the kids uneaten plates, consuming a lot of sugar and caffeine just to keep up with the kids. After a doctors visit and a negative report about my health, I knew things had to change. If this continued, I would be missing out a lot with my kids in the future. I wanted to be active along side them, watch them grow up, see them get married and have their own families one day.
I did not have a plan on losing weight at first. I counted calories and did a lot of cardio work outs and had some success losing weight but that was short lived. One late night eating a bowl of ice cream, I saw an infomercial for P90X. The infomercial looked cool but I always discounted these types of ads. I never believed it would work. After some time with more failed attempts, I heard a friend started doing P90X, so I said if he can do it why can't I?
Fast forward 90 days later, I have completed my first round of P90X. I lost weight and dropped two pant sizes and gained more muscle. Beyond my physical change, since I started eating healthier, my family also started eating healthier. My wife also appreciates the change. P90X provided me the road map with the exercises, nutrition, and support from others. YES, it WORKS! Now I want to pay it forward and share it with others.
